Traditional (oral) and Poster Papers are especially encouraged that address the symposium theme of wildland shrubs as wildlife habitat. Papers addressing other topics related to the biology, ecology, and management of wildland shrubs and associated species are also invited. Other topics may include, but are not limited to: fire and fire regime effects, invasive species, patterns of succession, climate change and effects, shrubland restoration, sensitive species, livestock relationships, and insect and disease effects. Symposium proceedings will be published. Authors will be expected to submit their publication-ready manuscripts no later than during the symposium, June 17-19, 2008.
