Extended University
Tuition, Fees and Financial Aid

Costs and Assistance

Students enrolled in NTEN courses are considered students of Montana State University's Extended University unless they have applied to and been accepted into an MSU graduate degree program. The tuition, fees and policies for Extended University students are different from those of traditionally enrolled students.

When registering for an NTEN course, MSU Extended University assumes that you are taking only online courses. If you are also taking face-to-face courses through Montana State University, a different fee structure may apply.

Financial aid

NTEN students are only eligible to apply for financial aid if they are admitted to Montana State University in a degree or certificate program. For information about financial assistance, please visit MSU's Office of Financial Aid.
