Educator Professional Development: AREN

Thanks to the Aerokats and Rovers Education Network (AREN), MSU is offering professional development in atmospheric sciences to educators.

Upcoming Offerings

MSU is planning to offer a graduate online course tentatively titled, "Experimental Atmospheric Science for the Classroom."

The course will provide middle and high school educators with the basics of atmospheric science and data collection. Educators will use kites to gather atmospheric data.

John Bognar, Ph.D. in Atmospheric Chemistry from the University of Colorado at Boulder, will teach the course. Bognar has 24 years of experience as an active atmospheric scientist developing and using instrumentation for atmospheric research.

Be the first to learn when the course opens for registration. Sign up for the National Teachers Enhancement Network (NTEN) email list. We do not sell names, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
