"When I became homeless, it's like I became invisible," said
John Harrison, a
former mid-level manager with a home, car and college education before a
convergence of events found him living on the streets. Through the National
Coalition for the Homeless speakers' bureau, Harrison and two former homeless
people tell their stories and put a face on a situation that many Americans
want to sweep under the carpet. The Diversity Awareness Office and ASMSU
Lively Arts and Lectures brought this event to MSU on March 21, 2007.
