The annual training symposium for physicians, advanced practitioners, nurses and emergency medical services working in the rural environment. The 2008 Agenda will include hands-on skill stations, interactive case review panels, specialized tracks, and general interest sessions.

Conference Goals
As participants in the 2008 Symposium, you will be able to:
- Identify the newest approaches to management of patients with head and spinal trauma
- Understand the development of sepsis in trauma patients and what you can do to prevent its occurrence
- Participate in hands-on skills stations teaching the latest techniques in managing patients with airway emergencies and chest trauma
- Participate in interactive case review panels discussing management of injured patients, both from the prehospital and hospital perspectives
