For a day or for a week, Extended University kids' programs let children and teenagers expand their knowledge about themselves and the world around them through fun activities on the MSU campus and at some of Montana's most fun-filled and interesting locations. Expanding Your Horizons in Math and Science

Dates: April 17, 2010
Location: Montana State University, Bozeman, MT
Grades: 6-8

Explore, Experiment, Experience, and Discover a New World of Math and Science!

This one-day conference includes hands-on workshops in the fields of math and science for girls in grades 6, 7, and 8. The purpose of the program is to encourage young women to participate in these academic areas. Downloadable EYH registration forms will be here on March 1.

MSU Science Saturdays for Kids

Dates: Feb. 6, March 6, April 10, 2010*
Location: Montana State University, Bozeman, MT
Ages: 8-13

Price: Free, but pre-registration is required

*Enrollment is limited, and students must pre-register for each event separately

If you like to dig your hands into science and learn about cool new research and technology, you'll love MSU Science Saturdays! Participate in hands-on experiments, learn about exciting new projects and meet the scientists and MSU students who are the shaping the future in Montana. Each month will feature a fun new science topic, so be sure to join us for all MSU Science Saturdays!

Children's Summer Sports Camp

Registration is now open!

Dates:

Session 1: June 14 - July 2, 2010; 1-5pm, M-F except MSU holidays

Session 2: July 6 - July 30, 2010; 1-5pm, M-F except MSU holidays

[You can participate in either or both sessions]
Location: Montana State University, Bozeman, MT
Ages: 5-11

Your child will get appropriate development instruction in a variety of movement and sport related activities including swimming, basketball, gymnastics and soccer. Sport related skills will be emphasized for older children. Movement explorations activities will be emphasized for younger children. Enrollment is limited to the first 115 children per session.

Suzuki Talent Education Program

Dates: Spring 2010
Location: Montana State University, Bozeman, MT
Ages: 3+

This program offers children (ages 3 and older) instruction in violin and cello following the Suzuki method of teaching. Students will have one private and one group lesson per week.
