Children's Summer Sports Camp

Dates:

Session 1: June 11-29, 2012 This session is now wait-list only

Session 2: July 2-27, 2012 (no camp July 4)


Location: Montana State University, Bozeman, MT
Ages: 5-11

Your child will get appropriate development instruction in a variety of movement and sport related activities including swimming, basketball, gymnastics and soccer. Sport related skills will be emphasized for older children. Movement explorations activities will be emphasized for younger children. Enrollment is limited to the first 115 children per session.

Peaks and Potentials Camp

Dates: June 17-22, 2012
Location: Montana State University, Bozeman, MT
Grades: 5-7 (in Fall 2012)

Peaks and Potentials summer enrichment camp gives high ability/high potential students the opportunity to explore special topics of interest and work with experts in various subject areas. Academic, recreational and social activities offer students a chance to interact with their peers and sample campus life. Students may stay on campus or commute each day. Learn More

Summer Youth Orchestra Workshop

Dates: Aug. 2-12, 2012
Location: Montana State University, Bozeman, MT
Ages: Middle School / High School
Cost: $475 (includes tuition, room, board, and tour travel)
Application deadline: May 4, 2012

The Summer Youth Orchestra Workshop is a 10-day, intensive string orchestra camp for talented high school students, held on the campus of Montana State University in Bozeman. The students work together as a conductor-less orchestra under the leadership of two professional string players, who participate as playing coaches. The group spends six days preparing a concert program which it then takes on a 4-day tour, including 10 free concerts in Bozeman, Chico Hot Springs, Yellowstone Park, and Big Sky, Montana.

Expanding Your Horizons in Math and Science

Expanding Your Horizons 2012 is now full!

Grades: 6-8

This one-day conference includes hands-on workshops in the fields of math and science for girls in grades 6, 7, and 8. The purpose of the program is to encourage young women to participate in these academic areas.

MSU Science Saturdays for Kids

Price: Free, but pre-registration is required

If you like to dig your hands into science and learn about cool new research and technology, you'll love MSU Science Saturdays! Participate in hands-on experiments, learn about exciting new projects and meet the scientists and MSU students who are the shaping the future in Montana.
